The Communications Museum launched on Thursday a temporary exhibition titled “Dragon Present in the Postage Stamps”, showcasing 166 sets of Lunar New Year of the Dragon stamps issued by 67 countries and regions. Through the postage stamps, the exhibition tells the story of the origins and culture of dragons.
The exhibition is divided into five parts: Dragon in Calligraphy, Dragon in Crafts, the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs and the eastern and western dragons of the Dragon Family, Dragons in Traditional Festivals, as well as Dragons in Literature, Legends and Myths.
The exhibition also features interactive games, namely Self-service Overprinting, Calligraphy Copying, Dialogue with the Dragon, Dancing with the Dragon, Dragon Boat on Land and Cosplay, among others. For more information about the exhibition visit the museum’s website.
