A fire at the Broadway Hotel in San Francisco’s Russian Hill neighborhood injured one person and prompted temporary street closures nearby Sunday morning, authorities said.

Firefighters responded to the blaze at the residence hotel at 2048 Polk St. just after 5:50 a.m, said San Francisco Fire Department spokesperson Justin Schorr. Broadway and Polk streets were temporarily closed. The fire was fully extinguished by late Sunday morning.
