(I've also posted this question on the SSI forum, which doesn't seem very active, so cross-posting it here, too) We're visiting Victoria for a few days, which will include a stay on Salt Spring Island from June 14-16, (with a car). This means leaving Salt Spring on a Sunday. In retrospect, this might not have been good planning on our part, as I'm now hearing that there are long lines for the Sunday ferry going back to Swartz Bay. What can we expect in mid-June? Should we plan to arrive in plenty of time (1-2 hours??) to catch the ferry @ 9:50 am, and then be prepared to wait for 1-2 other ferries before we actually get a spot. Or, is it better to try for a later ferry? Please let me know if you have experience catching the Sunday ferry. Thanks!
