Brian Gerald Snitker has been managing the Atlanta Braves for nine years as of 2024. Remarkably, he began his career as a baseball player in high school and college before playing in the minor leagues for the Atlanta Braves. However, his playing career never took off and he later joined the Braves as a roving instructor before getting hired as a minor league manager for the Anderson Braves in 1982. After serving as a coach in the minor leagues, he was made the manager for the Altanta Braves in 2016 and has been serving the role since.

Moreover, Snitker’s guidance as a manager led the Atlanta Braves to win the World Series Championship in 2021. Furthermore, they also won the National League title in 2021 and NL East Division title in 2020 and 2021. Snitker was also declared as the NL Manager of the Year in 2018.
