Anyone else already getting impatient and uncomfortable?!

Hi - just wondering if anyone out there is already extremely uncomfortable?? I’m only 27 weeks and can’t imagine having a full 13+ weeks to go. I’m already measuring big so maybe it’s that but I’m also still working 40+ hours/week in the operating room. I wish I could work less but we just can’t afford to do that unfortunately. Anyone else STRUGGLING?!

28 weeks now and FEELING it. It's even hard to breathe sitting ? Is that even possible ? they told me baby is measuring 80th percentile so I don't even know what I'll look like by the end of this

@koko25,

yesssss. I sing at church and some of the songs I’ve always sung I’ve been struggling with because I can’t breathe properly! I was late for rehearsal yesterday and I told them they’d have to skip my songs until I caught my breath from walking in from the parking lot to the sanctuary.

Yes. But while the physical part is annoying, it's the emotional and hormonal part that is doing me in. I am stressing about every little thing and I swing back and forth between rage and tears. I'm so ready for this to be over.

Me ✋! I have no clue how I will make it. I have my babies early though so most likely only have about 9 or 10 weeks left but even so, I feel like by that point I’ll be so miserable.

Yessssss!!

I work in surgery too, although I’m on reserve since my first baby. I worked up to 37 weeks with my first and then I had to take off. I couldn’t help get trays or move patients at that point (when I tried most people made me quit) and I almost felt like a burden half the time. It was still exhausting though! This pregnancy is way more uncomfortable sooner than my first. I wondered if it had to do with me working less and chasing a toddler more.

the OR and hospital in general is thd worst place to work while pregnant. It’s so physically taxing. Can they put you in a room that’s “easier”? I work in an OR but I’m a circulator so can sit down occasionally and I only work weekends, which still almost kills me. I worked up to delivery with my first and it was rough, but I do think it helped me go into labor sooner I guess I’m just sending love to you. It’s rough
