With the book by Bob Martin and Chad Beugelin, lyrics by Chad Beugelin, and music by Matthew Sklar, Steel River’s production is directed by David Williams with music direction by Jake Leonowitz and choreography by Amanda Morrell.

“The Prom is an important story because at its root it is a matter of civil rights,” Williams said in the release. “It’s a reminder that every person has the right to celebrate and love who they love out loud. You will laugh, you will cry, and hopefully, you will be inspired by this story of acceptance.”
