ARIA Charts: Post Malone and Morgan Wallen bro their way to the top of the chart

Post Malone has teamed up with bro country superstar Morgan Wallen to land the week’s most-streamed song in the country, after topping the ARIA chart with Taylor Swift earlier this month.

I Had Some Help debuted in pole position, with last week’s #1 Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter dropping to #4. Carpenter performed the hit on SNL over the weekend; it will be interesting if this spreads online and vaults the song back up the charts.

Elsewhere we see last week’s #2 and #3 — Million Dollar Baby by Tommy Richman, and A Bar Song by Shaboozey — holding steady, while Kendrick’s Drake diss, Not Like Us, has climbed from #9 to #5, as Euphoria (also a Drake diss) falls from #8 to #15.

This rest of the Singles chart is remarkably static with no other debuts until Stargazing by Myles Smith way down at #39.

The Albums chart is a little more exciting, thankfully.

Taylor remains on top*, but there are two massive Australian debuts in the top five: Troy Cassar-Daley with Between The Fires, which entered at #2, and Cape Forestier by Angus and Julia Stone, which debuted at #5.

They were split by Guts and Sour by Olivia Rodrigo, which jumped back into the top reaches of the charts, sitting at #3 and #4. The most fun debut comes from Knocked Loose, a hardcore band from Kentucky, who have landed their third album in the Australian albums chart at #14. A mighty effort – and just one spot off that much vaunted #13.

Lower down, the soundtrack featuring all the Eurovision finalists has debuted in the chart at #22 — and will no doubt duck back out next week — while One Of Wun by Gunna has debuted at #36.

All that Eurovision excitement meant that ‘Studio Albums’, basically a box-set of ABBA’s albums bundled together as one Spotify album, has landed in the ARIA Albums Chart at #48. There are no rules.

*And at #11, #13 #15,#16, and #18.
