It’s over for another year!  What did you think?  I really enjoyed the show this year. Not all of my favorites won, so there was a little disappointment.  I was rooting for Restless Road for New Duo or Group of the Year.  And I thought Luke Combs should have taken the Album of the Year, although Chris Stapleton is awesome, too.  Cody Johnson is amazing.  Very hard to believe he wasn’t among this year’s winners.  Very happy for Jordan Davis – so well deserved. But all in all, here’s how it turned out — and while we may not agree that all the right folks won, there is no denying that this was one absolutely wonderful group of nominees.

I can’t go on here without mentioning one of the many Radio Winners this year.  This one is personal to me … I know all these people and consider them friends.  They are from WXBQ FM in Bristol, Va.
