I love that Guggenheim Chad quote, but I also like how the film made him look horrified when shit was actually hitting the fan.
It’s very humanizing. It shows that even though people may have chosen the more “virtuous” path, it doesn’t mean that they did so easily or that they weren’t scared shitless when they were about to meet their end. It’s a small moment, but it’s a brilliant one. That, and the brief shot of Astor hugging one of the beams by the grand staircase as the dome caves in.

What bugs me is they put the life jacket on over their coats. They were told to put the life vest on before putting on s coat because if you end up in the water your jacket and other heavy clothing will weigh you down and make staying above water a lot harder.
Granted, if they end up in the water, it really doesn’t matter if they drown immediately or if they freeze while floating. Still just a minor thing that bugged me
