The film follows a woman (Cornish) who wakes up in a police interrogation room with no memory of the prior night and the accusations against her may have life altering implications. However, something is not quite right in this police station.

“Felipe Mucci has created a tense and tightly wound thriller that will keep audiences guessing at allegiances and motives,” said Quiver Distribution Co-Presidents Berry Meyerowitz and Jeff Sackman. “We are delighted to be working with the great team at Kinogo Pictures on Detained.”

“We’ve poured our hearts into crafting a captivating and exhilarating film, and I’m absolutely thrilled to join forces with Quiver to share Detained with audiences everywhere,” said director Felipe Mucci.

“I am very excited to be partnering with Quiver Distribution on this release,” said Ryan Scaringe of Kinogo Pictures. “Quiver has a great working relationship with their filmmakers and excels at enhancing the visibility of their films. I couldn’t think of a better home for Detained.”

Detained is produced by Ryan Scaringe (The Djinn, The Boy Behind the Door) and co-produced by Amy Lippens. Executive producers include Monica Sufar, Abbie Cornish and Laz Alonso. The deal was negotiated by Judah Klatzker from Quiver Distribution, and Alfredo Lara Orbezo from Sublimity Entertainment on behalf of the filmmakers. Sublimity is handling Worldwide Sales.
