Nazi descendant and Holocaust survivor speak at St. Louis Holocaust Museum

ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum will host a sold-out conversation between a Nazi scientist descendant, Suzanne Rico and Holocaust Survivor, Oskar Jakob Thursday, May 16, at 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Rico’s grandfather is the creator of the V-1 flying bomb. According to the Imperial War Museums, the V1 flying bombs were used to terrorize British civilians and are known as one of the most “fear-inducing” weapons during World War II.

Jakob was forced into slavery and worked on the V-1 flying bomb while imprisoned at the Mittlebau-Dora concentration camp in Germany.

This conversation will be moderated by Scott Miller, the former Director of Curatorial Affairs at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
