One of the biggest returns of all time took place at Survivor Series last year. CM Punk made an expected return! Most wrestling fans never expected him to return, as he has spoken against the WWE many times in the past.

In fact, he said extremely negative things about Triple H as well, who is currently leading the WWE. However, there is a consensus that CM Punk’s presence is not good for any locker room. Fans started questioning how well CM Punk is getting along with the other wrestlers that are in the WWE.

CM Punk left AEW after a backstage fight with Jack Perry which took place at AEW All In 2023. This was the second fight that CM Punk had in AEW. At All In, CM Punk put Jack Perry in a choke hold after Jack decided to use ‘real glass’ during his match that night, even though CM Punk told him not to do that.

Shane spoke about CM Punk’s presence in the WWE on ‘Behind the Turnbuckle’. "I didn't think he was ever going to come back here, just because of bad blood with past administrations and some of the stuff that was said online while he was gone.

But you also have to realize that we all say stupid stuff. In terms of the feeling backstage, he's been a pleasure ever since he's been back, and I never had any problems with him to begin with, so I'm not surprised he's been a pleasure with me but I haven't heard of anything bad either," said Helms.

CM Punk’s return has not been successful, as he could only wrestle once during a televised event, before being put on the shelf. He entered the Royal Rumble match. He suffered a torn bicep injury after that match, and hasn’t wrestled since then.

He has made a few appearances since being injured. He interfered in the Drew McIntyre vs Damian Priest match at WrestleMania 40. Drew wasn’t able to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Title due to CM Punk that night.
