Anthony Scaramucci Reveals Big Biden Hopes Over 'Existential Threat' Trump
Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci made his election hopes clear on Thursday, as he jokingly referenced former first lady Melania Trump to make the case for President Joe Bidenâs reelection.
âNobody wants Biden to win more than me and I am including Melania,â wrote Scaramucci in a nod to Donald Trumpâs wife, who has largely been absent from the public eye amid the former presidentâs 2024 campaign.
Scaramucci, who became a frequent Trump critic following his 10-day stint in his administration in 2017, noted that heâs not a âone issue voterâ before criticizing the presumptive GOP nominee.
âTrump is an existential threat to the democracy,â Scaramucci wrote on social media. âHe is a threat to NATO. He is a threat to the separation of powers in our Constitution and under no circumstances will I be voting for him. I will work tirelessly against him.â

Scaramucci, who described himself and other former Trump White House officials as being in a âTrump recovery unitâ together, appeared on MSNBCâs âMorning Joeâ in March, where he discussed the former presidentâs willingness to âhurt anybody and anything in his way.â
He recalled one of his âbig fightsâ with Trump over the institution of the presidency, noting that holding the job means youâre there to âserve the peopleâ and be âpresident for everybody.â
âMr. Trump doesnât see it that way. Mr. Trump sees it as a self-aggrandizement, grandstanding position, and then you can make a little bit of money on the side, thatâs fine, as well,â Scaramucci said.
He continued: âAll the policies that youâre discussing today, theyâre seen through that prism. Theyâre not seen through peace, preservation of the democracy, prosperity for all Americans â not just the friends of his that heâs cutting taxes for.â
