Terrible for Cleveland.

Too much quantity and not enough quality

Jalen has a ton of talent. He just hasn’t put the mental side together or the consistency. Tari is everything you want in a wing energy player. He’s very similar to Josh Hart. The pick in this is a lotto pick.

Jalen is a bust, it doesn't matter how much talent you have when it's not translating to game production. Tari isn't anything more than an end of bench player. The pick doesn't matter, the players have no value.

Cavs could get way more from any other team in the league. Not even up for debate.

He’s not even close to be being a bust lol. Let me know when your done with the crack pipe I can use some. He’s still only 22 with a lot more in him to develop. He just needs to work on his jump shot and shot selection. Hes still a good player.

Do you even watch the NBA? Tari is nothing more than an end of bench player? You either have no eyes or have no idea what you're talking about.

Just curious what you think Mitchell can get from other teams. I'm not saying you're wrong in valuing him higher, but I'm curious as to what you would realistically want in a return.

I’m not hating it for the Cavs. I know this years draft isn’t that great but that Brooklyn pick in this years draft is slotted pick 9. That 2026 pick from Brooklyn is also a very tantalizing pick as Brooklyn could be really bad that season.

Then you have Green whose flashed some good potential this past season whose a good young player. Landel and Tate are also good prospects who can be flipped down the line for value.

I think the Cavs would prefer to get a better top line player but that may not be available. For Houston it’s a lot to give up but Mitchell is a top 20 player in his prime and they still keep their pick swaps with Brooklyn in 25 and 27

2024 is a bad draft and 2026 is too far away.

Green is a busy, Landel isn't anything more than a #3 center, Tate is regressing every year.

Why would they flip them when they can just trade Mitchell for the value they need ? That better top line player will be available or they'll hold onto Mitchell

Generally I agree with you, I am more so just saying that it’s not inconceivable value wise. I think the Cavs are will likely get a frontline talent offer that’s better but sometimes the deals you think are available aren’t always there.

u/Gradyleo avatar

Yeah, it's very conceivable. That's the only way he would get moved.

It's not a really debatable

Not bad, obviously this is contingent on Mitchell not signing his extension and if Cleveland would rather have more players than picks or vice versa

Jalen Green is a negative asset
