I think there may be a glitch with QVC and Topcashback again.  All four of my purchases from QVC suddenly declined for the entire month of March.  This also happened about a year ago.  And it is a hassle to go back and open claims for each one.

I agree though, Topcashback is a scam.  They will not pay on legitimate purchases.  After this, I am done with them.

Anyway, this post prompted me to post for the very first time ever.  I have been lurking here for years and have learned many great tips from all of you! Smiley Happy

Many months ago, actually maybe a year ago, TCB stopped giving me credit for my purchases at both HSN & QVC.  It took me awhile to notice since I wasn't keeping track and then I would second guess whether I had gone through their site, etc.  So, I started keeping track, and fiing disputes when they were declined.  I think I ony had one that didn't eventually pay.  Can't say that for the Fenty site though, but I digress.

Since I know that sometimes an extension will interfere with other web sites, I started turning off extensions I thought I had added around the time I started getting declines, but that didn't work.  So, then I started using Incognito mode whenever I wanted to purchase something using ANY of the rebate sites since I discovered the other two didn't appear t be tracking either.

I'm thinking it COULD be my Ad Blocker, and I'm going to try only disabeling that one for both the rebate site and HSN/QVC some time when I make a very small purchase so it won't matter if it doesn't track just as a trial.  Not that any of my purchases are overly expensive.  If that's the villan, I can easily set it to not block on those sites.

Using Incognito mode is a real PIA, but since none of the Rebate sites were tracking, unless I can find the particular extension that is causing the problem, that's my only recourse.

Thank you @Shelbelle ! I was just about to purchase something. I just went and checked. My TCB account as I never look too closely when items are declined but everything looked good. No declines from Q or HSN except for items I have returned

@San Antonio Gal

It isn't the first time that my rebates from the Q have been declined and it's not just the Q either. I get declined from ShopLC plus some never get posted to begin with and when I get TCB to check them, they get declined!

Something needs to be done about this fiasco. I would report them to the BBB but not sure how that works.

I love TCB for a few reasons, they often offer $2.50 bounuses, they often have the highest rates and they top off your earnings when you use them to get your rebates in gift cards. That being said, I agree that it can take them months to honor a claim, that is the pits.

I have found Rakuten to offer the fastest and best CS, but so often Rakuten offers the lowest rates.

I have come to look at these sites as a real ****** shoot, but they are a gift, found money,  sometimes we win and sometimes not.

I'm on a roll today about TCB...LOL!

Another thing about TCB is their use of security images to sign in. Sometimes it takes me several sets of images to check off before it will let me sign in. Who else does that??!

I've never had a security image on TCB.  Other sites though I do and they can be hard to see.  There's a picture in Jersey Mike's sub shop that is one of those multiple pictures making up the picture.  I told my husband one day "Oh look, it's a Captcha", LOL.

So, today I had a different experience.  I saw that it was free shipping day and I had a couple of items in my Wish List I had been saving for that.  In the past, each item in an order got a separate Order Number.  It always caused me problems when I was trying to get credited since once you click on a day, you can't use that day again, but you also can't combine items.  And I'm talking about a single order with multiple items, not multiple orders.

Today, I ordered 2 items, but only got one order number for both.  That makes more sense to me, so I hope it's not a glitch and they then don't credit me with the 2nd item.  Hopefully, TCB works with sale and clearance.  If not, I at least saved $11 in shipping besides the savings from the sale price.

I started having trouble getting HSN rebates from Mr. Rebates.  Mr. Rebates was great about checking and giving me most of the rebates, but it was HSN denying them and often for reasons that made no sense (like I bought 2 different scents of a TS and they thought I was a reseller).

So, I decided to try TCB.  My first 2 purchases were declined but I did file a claim on both.  It took 2 months for them to contact HSN and I think I got the rebates a few weeks later.  I've since made 13 more HSN purchases, 2 of which were declined and I'm waiting to hear on the claims.

I have to wonder if these problems are on HSN's end but who knows.  Yes, it's a pain and takes more time, but in the end, I think I'm getting higher rebates with TCB so I'll stick with them for now.  Haven't made a QVC purchase with them yet.

Thanks to @Shelbelle , I check six different rebate sites before ordering.  I'm not in any hurry to get my rebates and use the site which gives the best percentage.  There have been times with EACH one, that I've had to contact their CS to track claims and have never had one fall through the cracks.  All the sites have gotten back to me with either the rebate or an explanation of why it was denied by the company.  You do have to keep track of things, though.  And TCB will take forever to resolve a claim.  It took around 4 months for me to finally get a rebate from Wal-Mart using Topcashback.

I missed out on a large rebate through befrugal. com.  I have a new CC with the security code of 000.  I kid you not.  QVC will not recognize that security code.  So when I realized this, for my payment method, I chose paypal.  I never thought that even though the paypal screen comes up in front of the QVC screen, that it is actually going to another website, so I lost the rebate because of using paypal.  Sigh.

Besides going to another website after clicking through to the intended website, you can also lose rebates if you use ANY code outside of what the rebate site lists on its page. Not always, but most of the time.

I keep notes on my iPad concerning the different sites.  This is what I have written down.  You may have had a different experience:

For Vitacost:  I have had problems with Topcashback.  Use Rakuten and you can use a code outside of the ones listed on the Rakuten website.

For Kohl's:  I have had problems with Rakuten.

For eBay:  I have had problems with Retailmenot.
