Robert Aaron Howell OBITUARY

HOWELL, ROBERT AARON Howell, Robert Aaron, 91, former longtime southeast Denver resident, died Sept. 1, 2003 in Tucson, AZ after a long illness. A native of Iowa, he spent his youth in Washburn, WI. A veteran of World War II, he served in the North African and Italian campaigns. He moved to Denver in 1949 where he worked for the Lucerne Milk Co., the Bowman Biscuit Co. and retired from the Keebler Co. His first wife, Elizabeth Jacobsen, died in 1974. They were members of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Denver. After retiring he moved to Tucson, AZ, where he was a member of the Nelson C. Bledsoe Masonic Lodge #74, the Scottish Rite and St. John’s Methodist Church. He was a life member of the V.F.W. He worked as a volunteer while in his eighties at Pima County Hospital in Tucson. He is survived by his second wife Ann of Tucson; a son Duane of Denver; daughter Lee of Ft. Collins; grandsons David of Evergreen; Douglas of Studio City, CA; a brother John of Cumberland, WI; a great-grandson Parker Howell of Evergreen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private inurnment will be in Washburn, WI.
