Summer's just about here, and if you're in need of a little closet refresh, you're in luck, because Gap and Dôen have just teamed up for what might be the collab of the season. And, if I wasn't already loving the designs so much, the faces of the campaign, sisters Lily and Ruby Aldridge, would probably seal the deal.

Launching this Friday, May 17, the 51 piece limited-edition collection of women's and kids' apparel and accessories is bringing us everything we could need for our ideal summer wardrobe. It's the perfect combination of Gap's quintessential designs ranging from denim to khaki, tees and trousers, complete with Dôen's delicate finishes like ruffles, florals, eyelet, and pastels.

“It’s been a dream to watch our collections, so rooted in nostalgia and femininity, reimagined through the classic Gap lens,” says Katherine Kleveland, Co-Founder and CCO of Dôen. “As with all our Dôen designs, the collaboration pieces were designed to be loved, worn in, and passed down—and we’re beyond excited to partner with Gap to be able to offer this to an engaged global community.”

For some background info, sisters Margaret and Katherine Kleveland launched the California based brand Dôen in 2016, and focus on meticulously crafted pieces that can be passed on for generations. Their brand is filled with sweet, whimsical pieces that give off a mixture of coquette and cool-girl energy.

Ranging from $19.95 to $158, the Gap x Dôen collaboration includes pretty much everything you'll need to take you from the office to the beach, whether it's a classic button down with eyelet sleeves, a pastel silk dress with delicate floral prints, or a fine knit cardigan with a ruffled collar. And not to mention the accessories: canvas totes, Mary-Janes, and baseball caps to name a few.

"The collaboration is a celebration of icons from both brands—our feminine florals and playful eyelets mixed with Gap’s classic shirting, khaki, and casuals," Kleveland added. "We’re so excited about the collaborative offering–the sweatshirt is a departure from the classic Dôen design and something I’m personally excited to mix into everyday. The denim barn jacket is going to be a staple, a versatile piece to throw on over a dress, skirt, more denim—will surely be a go-to. And we’re loving the shirting and tees–classic, yet feminine and easy—the collaboration is the perfect marriage of both brands, and we’re excited to see how our communities style their pieces."

The collection is available now on Gap.com and in select Gap stores, and it is sure to sell out quickly (as all special collabs seem to), so you might want to get on it before it's too late. If you need some inspo on what to get, here are a few of my faves!
