Southampton and West Brom lock horns at St Mary's Stadium for the second leg of their Championship play-off semifinal for the right to appear in the Wembley final, with the tie locked after a goalless draw in the first leg.

Saints, who continue their push for a ticket back to the Premier League at the first time of asking following their relegation last season, head into Friday night's clash as slight favourites.

The goalless draw in last weekend's first leg makes this encounter a winner-takes-all affair, with Russell Martin's side looking to pounce on home advantage after finishing fourth in the Championship regular season.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch it across the world, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Southampton vs. West Brom lineups, team news

Adam Armstrong was substituted with a knock during the first leg, but he's expected to be fine to start this crucial return leg. Meanwhile, Southampton boss Russell Martin is also hopeful that Che Adams will be able to shake off a calf issue in time to take his place in the Southampton offence at the expense of Sekou Mara.

Ross Stewart will have to contend with a spot on the substitutes' bench after his recent return to action.

Stuart Armstrong is dealing with a hamstring issue that will likely keep him out alongside Juan Larios. Goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu is ruled out for the season with an Achilles injury.

Southampton predicted XI (3-5-2, right to left): McCarthy (GK)— Harwood-Bellis, Bednarek, Stephens— Walker-Peters, Smallbone, Downes, Aribo, Manning— Adams, Armstrong

The visitors will be without the services of Josh Maja due to fitness concerns, while Jayson Molumby and Daryl Dike will be the other injury absentees. Carlos Corberan preferred Andreas Weimann on the bench in the first leg. It remains to be seen if he's tempted to re-introduce the Austrian forward in attack here.

Despite a quiet first leg at the Hawthorns, Brandon Thomas-Asante should continue to lead the line for West Brom. Tom Fellows may be dropped in favour of Jed Wallace on the right.

West Brom predicted XI (4-2-3-1 right to left): Palmer—  Furlong, Bartley, Kipre, Townsend — Yokuslu, Mowatt— Wallace, Diangana, Johnston— Thomas-Asante
