I'd definitely stop using alcohol and dish soap. Both are made to dry quickly and it'll make your hair dry and break. Shampoo once a week at most (usually wait till it feels dirty). I use a leave in conditioner every morning and argon oil at night. Conditioner in the shower every other day.
Leave in every morning and argan oil at night? Sounds like a routine from the salon that I went to for the very first time. If you are from Australia, please message me. I want to compare experiences from that salon. Thanks
Not from Australia but I did use HairClub when I started. Idk if they're in Australia
First of all, it does not look that bad. Second it does not look like a toupee. These are positives.
I agree with other I never use dish soap or alcohol to clean a system. Use a solvent which is greasy to clean and remove glue and then your hair won’t dry out like this.
This is my second system, first I’ve done by myself. I’ve noticed on both of mine they get really brittle at the crown and around the edges making it shorter and the edges more noticeable (not to mention the texture).
My thought is it’s from cleaning with alcohol and dish soap. This system is only 13 days old and I have shampooed maybe twice. I use leave in conditioners and olaplex.
Any tips on reducing the breakage? And if it is from cleaning glue off with alcohol, better ways to remove glue?
Dot use alcohol and dish soap. Use a proper good quality shampoo and conditioner. Use leave in conditioner too and some Argan oil.
how do you clean glue without alcohol? I can't find anything that performs against glue :/
You can buy glue remover. Ghost glue does one
