Motorola X50 Ultra Launches in China: Price and Specifications Revealed

Recently, the Motorola X50 Ultra has been announced in China; in fact, it is a rebadged Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. Although the outer design and internal hardware are the same, the key differentiation is the striking color options. It is equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and runs on the Android 14 operating system. It has a 144Hz screen on the front and a 50-megapixel selfie camera setup, whereas the back has a 50-megapixel triple camera. The Motorola X50 Ultra is available in three variants:

  • The 12GB+256GB model is priced at 3,999 yuan (approximately ₹46,240.38)
  • The 12GB+512GB variant is priced at 4,299 yuan (approximately ₹49,709.27)
  • The 16GB+1TB model comes with a price tag of 4,699 yuan (about ₹54,334.47)

The All New Motorola X50 Ultra

The device is made with a glass front and a wooden or eco-leather back panel, which are fitted together by an Aluminum frame. The front camera is placed in a middle poke-hole cutout, with the rear cameras in a bunk with the Moto logo. The device has a dust and water resistance rating of IP68 and is available in the following Forest Grey, Nordic Wood, and Peach Fuzz colors.

In terms of display, the Motorola X50 Ultra has a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, 2,500 nits peak brightness, an under-screen fingerprint reader, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It runs on Android 14-based Hello UI, offering a close-to-stock Android experience with some proprietary enhancements.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. A 4,500mAh battery is behind the scenes and 125W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. Motorola X50 Ultra is all set to become the next big hit for photography enthusiasts. This device houses a set of cameras, such as an OIS-enabled 50MP primary camera, a 64MP 3x optical zoom telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide.

At the Front lens, we have a 50MP camera setup for capturing good selfies. The connectivity features in this device include UWB Ultra-wideband, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen2, GPS, 5G, and NFC. It also sports Stereo speakers with Snapdragon Sound with Dolby Atmos and Dolby head-tracking. Moreover, it comes with Lenovo’s Xiaotian AI assistant and a collaboration tool with AI PC-enabled laptops from Lenovo.
