Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new series on Netflix, 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,' didn't see more viewers in its second week. It stayed as the second most-watched non-English series from May 6 to May 12 but had a small drop in viewership.
In the first week, it had 4.5 million views, while in the second week, it dropped to 4 million views. The Spanish show 'The Asunta Case' was the most-watched with 5 million views.

Bhansali's series has gotten 8.5 million views and 62.3 million hours watched in just 12 days. In its second week, it's among the top 10 trending shows in 32 countries. It's number one in many places including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and several Middle Eastern countries. Normally, big shows get more viewers in their second weeks, but this one didn't.
The Great Indian Kapil Show, which started in March, didn't do well. The first episode with Ranbir Kapoor and his family had only 2.5 million viewers. Then, fewer people watched it, and it fell down the Top 10 list on Netflix.
Last week, The Roast Of Tom Brady was the most popular English show, watched by 13.8 million people. Baby Reindeer had a good start with 2.6 million viewers but became even more popular later on. It got 13.3 million views in the second week, 22 million in the third week, 18.6 million in the fourth week, and 11.4 million in the fifth week.
The top-viewed series on Netflix is Wednesday, which got 252,100,000 views in the first three months since its release. Stranger Things 4 came next with 140,700,000 viewers within the same time frame. DAHMER: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story attracted 115,600,000 viewers during its first three months. Other popular shows include Bridgerton: Season 1, The Queen's Gambit, and The Night Agent Season 1.
Heeramandi features a cast including Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Shekhar Suman, and Adhyayan Suman in important roles. The show tells the stories of courtesans and aristocrats in Lahore before India's independence. Its reception has been varied, with some mixed reviews.
