‘Expats’

Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month is underway in L.A. and with it the city is host to a variety of AAPI-related events. This being Hollywood, plenty of offerings involve major stars — like the Ankler’s May 13 conversation between director Lulu Wang (The Farewell) and actress Sarayu Blue of the Amazon series Expats — while food, art and culture happenings also dot the month of May.

See below for Los Angeles’ AAPI picks:

May 11: A screening and panel discussion of the Emmy Award-winning film To Climb a Gold Mountain will take place at the Barnes Park Service Club House in Monterey Park. More info here.
