GAME SUMMARY
Indianapolis started the scoring with two runs in the top of the first. Lewis got on the board in the bottom of the third as Thomas Fox (Norfolk, Va./Norfolk Christian) drew a leadoff walk and later scored on Chris McDevitt's (Chicago, Ill./St. Rita) sacrifice fly.

Luke Carlson (Granville, Ill./Putnam County) worked his way out of a bases loaded, one out jam in the fourth with a strikeout and a flyout to keep the Flyers within one. The Greyhounds added a solo home run in the fifth to make it 3-1.

Lewis quickly got the run back in the bottom half as McDevitt singled and reached second on a wild pitch, then scored on Jason Krol's (Chicago, Ill./St. Laurence) RBI single. Three errors by UIndy led to the Flyers scoring four runs in the seventh to take a 6-3 lead.

Fox scored on the first error, which allowed McDevitt to reach base. Angelo Cantelo (Blue Island, Ill./Marian Catholic) hit a sacrifice fly to bring home Mikey Kocen (Beach Park, Ill.), and then McDevitt scored on the third error of the inning as Cain Headrick (Custer Park, Ill./Providence Catholic) reached base.

Lewis scored six more runs in the eighth to pull away as the Greyhounds committed three more errors. Kocen reached on an error to score Patrick Keaty (South Elgin, Ill./South Elgin), and McDevitt reached on a fielder's choice to bring Fox across the plate.

Headrick added a two-RBI double to score McDevitt and Krol to make it 10-3 Flyers. Michael Alt (Appleton, Wis./Kimberly) then reached on an error, and another error by the Indianapolis catcher scored Headrick before George Bilecki (Chicago, Ill./Marist) hit an RBI double as Alt came home to bring the score to 12-3.

The Greyhounds scored one more run in the ninth but could not get close as Lewis won 12-4. Colin Amsden (2-2) earned the win, throwing four innings in relief and allowing one run on two hits and a walk, striking out five batters.
