The Rotary Club of Sumner recognized 23 seniors for academic excellence at the Scholastic Honors Banquet on May 14 at the Hansen Place in Sumner. Students and their families donned college gear at the annual event, which dates back 40-plus years, to honor seniors who’ve earned the top grade point averages from Sumner High School and Bonney Lake High School.
