On Sunday, May 5, 2024, Christopher G. Wetmore succumbed to this long-time battle with cancer. Christopher is no longer suffering and is now safe in the hands of the Lord.

Chris was born January 11, 1971, in Rutland, Vermont to Susanne Wetmore (79) of Providence, RI, and George Wetmore (81) of Rutland, VT. Chris has one brother, Jeff Wetmore (57) of Rutland, VT. Chris married his best friend, Brittany Brooking, on March 2, 2019. They had two children together, Alivia Wetmore (9) and Dean Wetmore (4). Chris also has three stepchildren, Emily Bell (16), Wyatt Bell (15), and Katie Marshall (26). He loved all his children very much and was extremely proud to be a dad.

Chris was a mechanic who worked on heavy machinery. He worked with Dynamic Equipment for 26 years before his passing, receiving many different awards. Chris served in the U.S. Army in 1997 and was very proud of himself. Chris loved working on motors and engines, and he was damn good at it.

Everyone who met Chris loved him, Chris would do anything for anyone who asked. One things for sure if you needed Chris for something he was right there for you no questions asked. Never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lake Mills Park, 1301 Tropical Avenue, Chuluota, FL 32766, on May 19 at 1:00 p.m.
