Top four potential opponents for Bayley after her win at Backlash 2024

Bayley has emerged as one of the most popular and remarkable WWE superstars of the modern era. From starting out as The Hugger to donning the persona of a Role Model and leader of Damage CTRL, Bayley’s career has been etched with memorable matches and moments.

The Role Model had a spectacular start to 2024 by winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match and going on to WrestleMania 40 to dethrone her former Damage CTRL stablemate, IYO Sky to win the WWE Women’s Championship. Moreover, she also emerged successful in her first title defense against Tiffany Stratton and Naomi at WWE Backlash France.

With Bayley surviving her first challenge, here is a list of four potential challengers for Bayley‘s title following WWE Backlash France:

4. Blair Davenport

Blair Davenport emerged as one of the top prospects in WWE’s developmental brand, NXT with her amazing in-ring acumen and skill. Moreover, she also clinched the accolade of winning the Iron Survivor Challenge and was even involved in a high-stakes NXT Women’s title match.

Following her successful NXT tenure, Davenport was drafted to SmackDown as part of the WWE Draft 2024 and can be a potential and fresh challenger to Bayley’s reign, with the champion facing a new threat like never before.

3. Chelsea Green

The fastest rising WWE superstar in the Women’s division of SmackDown definitely has Tiffany Stratton on the top of the list. Tiffy Time’s fame and popularity has been evident in not only arenas in the United States but also overseas as well as witnessed during her performance at the Elimination Chamber and Backlash France PLE.

While Tiffany was indeed involved in the latter PLE’s triple threat title match, she is a top name for a future one-on-one showdown with Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship.
