90s child star unrecognizable in rare public siting 25 years after The Sixth Sense role

Child star Haley Joel Osment almost went under the radar when he stepped out for the first time in a while for a public appearance in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old shot to fame in cult '90s movies like The Sixth Sense with Hollywood legend Bruce Willis and Forrest Gump with Tom Hanks.

Haley looked worlds away from his early acting days as he attended a Celebrity Golf Invitation at the Netflix Is a Joke festival on Monday.

He looked super trendy in a black zip-up hoodie and black pants.

Hayley finished off his look with a pair of grey sneakers and a black leather belt.

The actor rocked long dark hair and a thick beard as he posed at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades.

He posed up a storm at the event alongside comedian Nate Bargatze, 45.

Haley shot to fame when he portrayed Tom Hanks' son in the 1994 movie, Forrest Gump, a role that won him a Young Artist Award.

Five years later, aged 10, he played a psychic child called Cole Sear opposite Bruce Willis in The Sixth Sense in 1999.

He was nominated for an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and a SAG award in 2000 for his impressive take on the role.

However, in 2006, Hayley had a brush with the law when he got a DUI after crashing his car in Los Angeles.

He was sentenced to three years probation and 60 hours of alcohol rehab.

The incident was a one-off, and he later put it down to being a “foolish high-schooler."
