I remember my older brother blasting this on the last day of school every year throughout high school. It became all of our (his little sister and brothers’) anthems. I’m so grateful to my brother for guiding our musical taste and informing us how dead disco was. I still closet listened to Earth Wind & Fire, the Commodores and George P Clinton and the Funkadelics. Had to shake up my square university dorm mates and I ended up being forced to move to the other end of the hall. People thought I was being cruel but they didn’t know my roommate was honest to god deaf
