Well, it's differs from person to person how to do this, because it depends on how quickly your own body picks up cortisol production.

It depends on the individual. You should share your symptoms with your endocrinologist for their input.

I have friends with Cushings, but I have Addisons (the opposite issue of Cushings). Are you taking it multiple times a day, like is 25mg your total per day dosage, or is it once a day? If it's across the day start by lowering you last dose by half, and after about a week or two your next to last dose by half, and so on. If you go to fast for your body you will get Addisons like symptoms, it's going to take time to lower it safely. Most Endos don't know nearly enough about these two disorders, and to little is extremely dangerous.
