Trailer for Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's film 'Mr and Mrs Mahi' to be release on THIS date

Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are gearing up for their upcoming release 'Mr & Mrs Mahi.' The makers have been heightening anticipation among fans by unveiling new posters. Now, they're set to unveil the film's trailer tomorrow. Earlier today, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions revealed the release date along with a new poster.
The poster read, “Kisi ke sapno ko udaan milti hai, aur kisi ke sapno ko ek dusre ka saath! Catch this imperfectly perfect partnership built on love and dreams – the #MrAndMrsMahi trailer hits the field TOMORROW! In cinemas on 31st May, 2024.”
The poster features Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in cricket attire, seated closely together.Flashing their smiles looking at each other. The tagline on the posters said, “A Google Of A Love Story”. The trailer will be exclusively releasing on Star Sports at 2:40 pm followed by a Youtube release at 3:40 pm.
'Mr and Mrs Mahi' is a film which revolves around the passion for cricket. Janhvi had to train hard for her role to learn some cricketing skills. In an interview with Mid-Day, Janhvi previously disclosed that she underwent six months of rigorous training to master the mannerisms of a cricketer. “It was an exhaustive process of six months to get into the skin of the character and sync into the role," she said.
Directed by Sharan Sharma, known for his debut with 'Gunjan Saxena – The Kargil Girl (2020),' 'Mr & Mrs Mahi' will be Janhvi Kapoor's fourth theatrical release. This follows her roles in 'Dhadak' (2018), 'Roohi' (2021), and 'Mili' (2022). Additionally, she is set to star in two more films this year: the political thriller 'Ulajh' and the Pan India project 'Devara' alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan.
As for Rajkummar Rao, after 'Srikanth' and 'Mr & Mrs Mahi,' his upcoming 2024 releases include 'Stree 2' and 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'.
