New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has shown a lot of support to rookie wide receiver Malachi Corley since the team drafted the Western Kentucky wideout. That doesn't seem to be sitting well with one of Rodgers' former Green Bay Packers teammates.

In a since-deleted post on X, former Packers wide receiver Amari Rodgers said that while Aaron Rodgers' support will likely be good for Corley, he wished he had that kind of support during his rookie season in Green Bay.

“Promise this helps him play better as a Rookie... if only I had this type of love coming into GB, but to each his own!” Rodgers wrote.

Amari Rodgers played just 26 games for the Packers despite being a highly-touted third-round pick out of Clemson in 2021. During those 26 games he mostly played special teams and had 20 receptions for 249 yards and one touchdown.

He played his final nine NFL games split between the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts and now plies his trade in the UFL with the Birmingham Stallions.

It's been pretty well-documented at this point that Rodgers didn't leave the Green Bay Packers on the best of terms. We might hear more anecdotes of people who took issue with Rodgers' final years in Green Bay in the years to come.
