Photo Op Etiquette

Fan Expo Dallas

Hey y’all! This is my first comic con, and I got a photo op with Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy and I’m so excited, but what is considered good etiquette? I know that they are very quick, but I wanted to do a little heart hand pose with them and I was wondering if it was rude or weird to ask😅

That should be fine. People ask for certain poses like hugging or "prom dance" poses all the time. Its up to the individual celebrity to decide if they're allowing poses / certain poses. Mads Mikkelsen was pretty good about it from what I've seen at C2E2 in Chicago.

You'll get a few seconds with them as you walk up. Enough time to say nice to meet you and immediately tell them what pose you want to do. A couple seconds to get in to pose and they'll take your picture. You are then immediately walking away as they turn to talk to the next person.

Have fun!
