Jimmy Dean Hall OBITUARY

Jimmy Dean Hall, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Mercy Regional Hospital in Lorain. Born on October 10, 1963, in Lorain, Ohio, he was the beloved son of Glen and Frankie Hall (nee Ossman).Jimmy was a proud graduate of Vermilion High School, class of 1982. His professional journey began in 1989 when he embarked on a career at Ford Motor Company in Lorain. With dedication and diligence, he transferred to the Avon Plant, where he became an integral part of the paint department. Known for his leadership skills, Jimmy served as a committee man and later as the first vice president. His commitment to excellence led him to the Brook Park plant, where he excelled in the Machining Department as a team leader with the yellow crew. Jimmy’s exemplary work ethic made him a cherished colleague and a commendable provider for his family.Beyond his professional pursuits, Jimmy was a man of diverse interests. He had a passion for music, finding solace and joy in playing the guitar. A fervent enthusiast of NASCAR and various sports, Jimmy’s heart belonged to teams such as the Alabama Roll Tide, Atlanta Braves, Boston Celtics, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jimmy was a proud member of the Ely Masonic Lodge # 424.Jimmy leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Christina Hall (nee Haggard), his sons Tyson Hall, Jimmy Hall Jr., and daughter Jemaica Geiger, as well as his cherished grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Frankie Hall, his brothers Glenn (Juanita), George, Tony (Leslie), and Tommy (Michelle) Hall, and his sister, Vicky Hall.Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Glen Hall.The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, located at 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral center. The family invites friends to join them for a reception after the service at 5:00 p.m. at Green Pasture Baptist Church, 12404 Leavitt Rd., Oberlin, Ohio. Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery, Crown Hill Ave., Amherst.
