There are four of these restaurants two of them Barcelona and we have gone to both of them. We find this location is better than the other further up near Bonanova. Although the menu is the same there is a noticeable difference in the preparation and taste of the food.

This is a very simple and reasonably priced restaurant, specializing in meats and butifarra (Catalan sausages) all of which are cooked on the grill and are accompanied by either baked potatoes, white beans or bread with tomato. They also have appetizers, salads and some fish. The house wine is really inexpensive around 6.50 for a carafe, not the best wine but drinkable with food. If you want to splurge decent bottles start at around 14 euros.

Staff is not overly friendly but they are prompt, capable and courteous. Decor, farmhouse style with bare tables and tile floors.

It gets very busy with the lunch crowd around 1:00 to 2:30 pm on weekdays, as well as weekends, and during dinner time around 8:00 pm. Opens everyday and evening, which is good to know, many restaurants in Barcelona close Sundays and Mondays and sometimes close for dinner one day during the week.

Family restaurant.

Simple, fresh, reasonably priced, well cooked, and a nice change from the complex meals available elsewhere.
Definately the kids (teens) favorite so we are back there tonight.
The staff are lovely, but not everything on the menu is in English (or Spanish) so a certain about of guesswork is required for the desserts.
We had grilled chicken breast (with bread), grilled Lamb (with beans), and grilled rabbit (with potato). Followed by Creme Catalan (Creme Brulee), chocolate ice cream, and truffles.
We were all full and the cheapest evening meal so far.

Very good simple Catalan food cooked in the front of the restaurant on a small grill behind the counter. The house wine at a little over 6 euros a liter is very drinkable and goes well with the grilled meats. Good value, we shared a fresh salad had two main entrées with a side each, and the house wine all for for 30 euros. The service is pretty efficient and quick.

During lunchtime it is packed with local people. We went on a Wednesday night and it was easy to get a table. Don't know their schedule e aptly so etc es they are open sometimes they are not, I would check before going to make sure they are open.

The place has a big grill where they cook the meat and other food. The offer is more than diverse, and it also has vegetarian options. The place is great to have informal gatherings with family or friends. Staff is always friendly and willing to help.
