Men's lacrosse ranked 18th in final Division III poll of 2024

Continentals finished with a 9-7 record including three wins against ranked teams

The Hamilton College Continentals are ranked 18th in the final U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/Blatant Lacrosse Division III Men's Top 20 coaches poll of the 2024 regular season on Monday, May 6.

Hamilton (9-7) lost 12-6 at then-nationally ranked No. 10 Wesleyan University in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) championship semifinal on May 4. That came one week after the Continentals edged then-No. 3 Tufts University 14-13 in overtime in the NESCAC quarterfinals. It was Hamilton's third win against a ranked team this season.

The Continentals were led by NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year Jack Fried '25, who also was voted first team all-conference at goalie. Fried was joined on the all-NESCAC team by midfielders Will Heher '25 and Justin Pearl '25, and attackman Thomas Healy '26.

The nine victories are the most for Hamilton since 2013.
