PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Former President Donald Trump has hinted at what his youngest son, Barron Trump, might do after finishing high school.

Per DailyMail, the 18-year-old is set to graduate from Oxbridge Academy on Friday, May 17, and there have been several conjectures about his next steps.

In the past, the MAGA figurehead has indicated that Barron was considering attending the University of Pennsylvania, as well as rumors about him possibly going to New York University.

However, during a recent speech at Mar-a-Lago, Trump mentioned that Barron is now "looking at some colleges that are different than they were two months ago."

The possibility of Barron Trump pursuing a political career has been a subject of widespread discussion following his selection as an at-large delegate to participate in the formal nomination of his father, Donald Trump, as the 2024 Republican presidential nominee.

During last week’s address at Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump showered glowing praises on his youngest child, saying, “Right now, he’s doing a great job. He has great marks.”

“He’s going to be going to college soon. And we’re looking at some colleges that are different than they were two months ago,” the 77-year-old former POTUS added.

Barron, according to Trump, enjoys offering his father advice and is interested in politics.

The 45th US President mentioned on 'Kayal and Company' on Philadelphia's Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, “He's really been a great student. And he does like politics.”

“It's sort of funny. He'll tell me sometimes, 'Dad, this is what you have to do,'” Trump claimed.

The ex-Commander-in-Chief also revealed that Barron, who is graduating from high school this week, is considering college options and that the recent campus protests have influenced his decision.

“He's a senior now in high school, and he'll be going to college. And you know, a lot of, a lot of these choices of colleges are changing because you see what's going on in the last month,” Trump remarked.

The former president has been critical of the pro-Palestine protests on US college campuses and expressed his willingness to involve the National Guard in addressing them.

Trump also complimented his 6 ft 7 in son's appearance, saying, “He's a little on the tall side. I will tell you, he's a tall one, but he is a good-looking guy.”

Barron Trump, unlike his half-siblings, was rarely seen during his father's term at the White House.

This was mainly at the request of his mother, former First Lady Melania Trump, who is known to be protective of her son.

Melania rarely let Barron attend official White House events and would have him travel in a separate car instead of the official presidential motorcade.

She also made sure that Barron boarded Air Force One using the back stairs of the plane to avoid photographs of him climbing the front stairs with his parents.
