June Squibb is a veteran of the American film, TV and theatre industry. She scored a "Best Supporting Actress" nomination for her acting work in "Nebraska" back in 2013. She has also appeared in "About Schmidt," "Alice," "In & Out," "I'll See You in My Dreams," and she did voiceover work for "Toy Story 4" and "Inside Out 2."
Squibb has also has recurring roles in such TV series as "Ghost Whisperer," "The Young and The Restless," "Shameless" and "Good Girls," among others.
With her Oscar-nominated performance in "Nebraska," Squibb is the fourth oldest nominee in the history of the Academy Awards (at 84 years old). The late Gloria Stuart and Judi Dench hold the record for being the oldest nominees ever at 87 years old. The entertainment icon went on to share nine fun and exciting things about herself.

"My favorite movie of all time is 'Seven Samurai' by Akira Kurosawa. This is an old film from the '50s," Squibb said. "Lately, I really loved 'Barbie.' I had fun watching that. I thought that was really good."

"All the FBI series on CBS on Tuesday night. I love them," she exclaimed.
Her Favorite Cheat Meal
Squibb's favorite cheat meal is "bagels with cream cheese and lox." "I can eat that all the time," she admitted.

On her favorite sport to watch and to play, she shared, "I would love to watch basketball. Also, I used to play it when I was a kid. In high school, I was good at it. Now, I just like to watch any basketball."
How She Unwinds
In order to unwind and relax, Squibb enjoys reading a lot and I would watch TV at night (never in the daytime). "I've always read... ever since I was a kid," she recalled. "I have two cats and they are pretty funny. They are both tabby cats, and they are rescue cats."

Her favorite music is "Jazz."
If June Squibb Could Have a Superpower.............
If Squibb were to have any superpower, it would be to fly, where she would be able to get around faster and she would be able to save more people.

Her alternate career choice would have been a "cop," if she weren't in the entertainment industry.

On the best thing about being her age (94) at this stage of her life, she revealed with a sweet laugh, "I don't really give a damn what anyone else thinks."
