Rob Van Dam Addresses Possible Extended Run In AEW

Rob Van Dam has discussed the possibility of making more appearances for AEW.

Back in August 2023, RVD first appeared for the promotion as an opponent for then FTW Champion Jack Perry, who had disrespected ECW legend Jerry Lynn over his treatment of the championship. Van Dam lost the FTW Rules match to Perry on Dynamite.

Following his debut, Van Dam has appeared occasionally and has competed in 6 matches, most recently on the 20th of April as part of the High Flying Elimination Match on Rampage. Not officially a part of the roster and with future appearances unknown, does the Hall of Famer have any interest in being a part of AEW on a more permanent basis?

Asked about the possibility of an extended run in the promotion on his 1 of a Kind podcast, Van Dam stated that he is open to all talks but they have not taken place:

“I would like to think that I’m open to any conversation. So anything’s worth considering. Let’s hear what you got in mind, whatever. But no, I don’t have any of those talks. What you see is what you get, and that’s all anybody is talking about. All anyone is talking about doing, let me put it that way,”

Rob Van Dam Opens Up About Scary Injury

Known for his high-risk move set and competing in multiple hardcore matches, Van Dam has been involved in multiple incidents that could have been a lot worse. When discussing the worst injury he had ever sustained, Rob Van Dam revealed one injury nearly cost him his eyesight.

On another episode of his podcast, Rob Van Dam recalled a terrifying flight while on an overseas WWE tour.
