Backyard at Hudson Yards 2024 – The Complete Guide

Hudson Yards has unveiled its 2024 lineup for Backyard at Hudson Yards, NYC’s outdoor entertainment hub, presented by Wells Fargo. This year’s offerings include performances by The Public Theater’s Mobile Unit, interactive story-time events with the New York Public Library, social reading parties with Reading Rhythms, and curated fitness classes by Alo Yoga.

The popular FREE concert series, programmed by The Bowery Presents, returns with top artists like Keke Palmer, David Archuleta, Brynn Cartelli, and more. Additionally, there will be movie screenings, live sports watch parties on the 30-foot Big Screen powered by Verizon, family concerts by Mozart for Munchkins, outdoor dining, and more.

As the presenting sponsor, Wells Fargo is offering its customers exclusive benefits, including priority seating and early reservation access for select events.

The Big Screen

Watch games, series, and tournaments on the 30-foot Big Screen powered by Verizon at the Public Square and Gardens, featuring basketball, soccer, tennis, baseball, golf, F1, hockey, football, and more.

Power Hour

Join the free yoga, Pilates, and dance cardio fitness classes every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 8:00-9:00 a.m. at the Public Square & Gardens, starting May 14th. Presented by Alo Yoga, the renowned wellness and activewear brand is situated on Level 2 of The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards. Backyard Bites

Enjoy the summer vibes at Verano in the Public Square and Gardens, where delicious food, cool drinks, and a lively atmosphere await! Indulge in Mexican street food-inspired delights at this newest outdoor hotspot, offering stunning views of the Hudson River and breathtaking sunsets.

Wells Fargo customers get a skip-the-line chance, available on a first-come, first-served basis during peak times at Verano, open from May 2nd to November 3rd.

Family Fun

Experience a full day of family fun on May 18th with exciting activities, including a screening of DC League of Super-Pets on the 30-Foot Big Screen, a Jazzical performance by Mozart for Munchkins, and a live puppet show of “The Little Red Hen” by WonderSpark Puppets!

Indoors at The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards, kids can enjoy face painting and custom balloons by balloon artists, along with special family-friendly offers for shopping and dining. Seating is limited, so bring your own mats and blankets for added comfort.

Don’t miss Mozart for Munchkins, offering free monthly interactive family concerts every third Saturday from May to September at the Public Square and Gardens. Plus, enjoy immersive storytime sessions hosted by The New York Public Library, featuring read-aloud books, songs, and rhymes perfect for children aged 0-12, followed by a communal art activity.
