The Frasier reboot confirms its latest casting as Season 2 production ramps up. The Paramount+ revival series enlists Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett's Peli Motto in a guest role.

Per Variety, Amy Sedaris will join the second season of the Frasier reboot as one of its guest stars. Sedaris, known for bringing her sense of humor to the Star Wars universe, features in Season 2 of the updated Frasier as Dr. "Doc" Stathos, a therapist and self-professed fan of the eponymous psychiatrist/talk show host-turned-professor. Sedaris' character is described as “a municipal therapist with a down home, scattered veneer. She works with the firefighters at Freddy’s firehouse and is also a big, BIG fan of Frasier Crane from his old TV talk show.”

The Frasier reboot has welcomed a number of positive reviews. Yet, its latest character may just be what the show needs to take it to new heights.

Sedaris played Motto, a mechanic who operates a hanger in Mos Eisley, provided some of the more lighthearted moments in The Book of Boba Fett miniseries, which aired in 2022. She also portrayed Motto in four episodes across three seasons in The Mandalorian. She may not be done portraying the character as The Book of Boba Fett may land a second season. The first season of the miniseries became a popular watch on Disney+ but received mixed reviews from critics.

The Frasier Revival Continues With Season 2

The Frasier revival's follow-up season recently began principal photography following its renewal by Paramount in February. Season 2 also confirmed the return of Peri Gilpin's Roz Doyle after the original series star appeared in the Season 1 finale, "Reindeer Games" to reunite with the titular character. Star and executive producer Kelsey Grammer confirmed before the show's renewal confirmation that he wants a bigger role for Gilpin in Season 2.
