Cher Lloyd in horror car accident with her two children after 'brakes failed'

Cher Lloyd has been involed in a car accident with her children after her brakes failed. The ITV The X Factor star took to social media to share a photo of her car before announcing she was in a car accident with her children - and says she is counting her "lucky stars".

She wrote: "This is my Ford Ranger. My brakes totally failed with no warning while driving with my baby and my 5-year-old. Total engine failure due to the wet belt. To anyone who owns one or is thinking of buying one, BEWARE! I’m counting my lucky stars that my family is safe. This beautiful vehicle, however, has retired well before her time @forduk."

In reply, a fan said: "Thank the universe you and your babies are okay." Another person added: "That's terrifying, especially with your littles in the car! Thank goodness you guys are ok!" And a third chimed in to say: "Thank goodness you’re all ok, can only imagine how terrifying that was especially with your precious cargo on board."
