ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh taken aback as player 'proposes'

The Chase's Bradley Walsh was in stitches after a player's wedding confession on today's show.

The 63-year-old welcomed another batch of four quizzers on Tuesday's edition of the popular game programme. Julian, Lizzie, Jane and Rocky were testing their wits against Paul Sinha in a bid to win a huge cash prize.

Julian was in seat one and the 32-year-old was hoping to raise funds for his upcoming wedding. He told the presenter: "We're getting married next year."

The host quickly shot back: "You and I? That's news to me. But hey, I think you're a nice guy and I find you strangely attractive."

However, the player clarified it was with his partner, Emily, who he joked hadn't been told the news just yet. Bradley responded: "That's come as a surprise to the pair of us."

The player proceeded to put in an incredible performance as he earned £7,000 in the cash-builder before he progressed into the last round. He was joined in the Final Chase by Rocky and Lizzie as they were competing for £18,000.

The team built up 15 steps but left empty handed as they were caught with 23 seconds remaining.
