Remy Ma was recently spotted again with Bad Newz, a battle rapper from North Carolina, fueling rumors that she and Papoose are on the outs. The rapper hopped on Instagram to share a picture of him and Remy rocking matching, icy watches. “Chrome 23 weekend was a MOVIE [emoji] shouts out to @remyma for continuing the Greatness [emoji] SN: I think my Cartier Dancing a [emoji] More then Yours Gang [emoji],” he wrote in the post’s caption.
Moreover, rumors have swirled since last year that the couple had split up, but neither has confirmed that. She was also linked to another battle rapper named Eazy The Block Captain, according to TMZ. After Pap caught wind of news that there had been a possible affair, he confronted Eazy. Even more, the rapper confessed to the supposed affair and more in an explosive 16-minute audio clip that was posted on a YouTube blog channel.

Remy Ma (real name Reminisce Kioni Smith-Mackie), married Papoose (Shamele Mackie), in February 2016 following her release from prison. The beautiful moment was captured on Love & Hip Hop. In July 2007, Remy was arrested after turning herself in to the NYPD — she had been connected with a shooting incident outside a Manhattan deli. According to reports, Remy accused a former female associate of stealing nearly $3,000 from her. After a verbal altercation ensued, the woman had been shot in the torso.
By March 2008, she had been charged and convicted of assault, illegal weapon possession, and attempted coercion. Remy only served six years out of her eight-year sentence and was released in August 2014. That said, the couple shares one child together, Reminisce Mackenzie. In addition to the daughter they share, she has another child from a previous relationship. As does Papoose, with three of his own.
