He was predeceased by : his parents, Ford Evans Sr. and Ethel Mae Courtney Evans; and his sisters, Maudean Evans Johnson and Margaret Evans. He is survived by : his daughters, Sharon Long (Mike) of Orange, TX, Michelle Evans of Nicholson, MS, Lynnette Provost of Nicholson, MS and Joy Lenhard (Troy) of Bay St; and his siblings, Jimmy Evans (Wanda) of Bunkerhill, MS and Annie Lois Sneathern. He is also survived by 6 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 5 great grandsons, 1 great granddaughter, 4 great-great grandsons, and 1 great-great granddaughter.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Picayune Funeral Home (815 S Haugh Ave, Picayune, MS 39466). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
