With a draw under our belt, percentage is almost not a factor. At this point Essendon would have to finish on the same points for us to require a decent percentage.

Public word is a groin injury for Howe, hoping its just precautionary bc of his age and its against West coast. Harrison looked alot worst, couldn't put weight on his ankle

Crisp has been awesome in this first half. Great to see after the shaky start he's had to the year.
Shoulda coulda woulda but this is the way we should have been introducing our 2s to AFL. Throwing Dean, Jakob Ryan and Fin Macrae into the deep end against Top 4 teams was asking way too much and hindered their progress.
Richards is only going to grow in confidence from this match and he deserves that confidence. He's been impressive.
Edit: Fin is showing his huge potential this match as well.
Do remember fin is playing as a forward against the worst team in the comp. Has definitely shown alot more promise receiving the ball inside 50 than he's ever shown on ball
He's positioning himself well on half forward and earning his shots, he's not just sitting in a pocket cherry picking
No, but the set up to get it to him has also been phenomenonal from joey Richards. Just gotta temper expectations considering 5/6 of our best 22 pure forwards are out plus jdg and titch out, then Howe and Harrison out of this game.
I like this so far, but….. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Was worried this was a danger game with the outs. But these young boys showing they are more than ready to step up.
My gosh, Joe Richard’s is an absolute Jet. Nice to see Macrae get amongst the goals, still needs improvement with his decision making but the goals will give him great confidence going forward.

Loving the balance between old and young today. The future is looking real bright despite some of our legends getting close to the end of their careers.
What has also impressed me is the fact that the older players are amongst the best. I really wish we would look more at Geelong this year and last year, and the difference new faces can make.
Fin Macrae is him
Far out we’re spoilt for young talent at the moment. Just won a flag and future is looking bright.
Some of these younger players are making massive statements, all deserving of a spot in the side right now.
Finlay Macrae, alot better up forward than in midfield. Happy with his game. Richards almost cemented a spot in the 22 at this stage
Fin will be buying Joe drinks all week. He’s set him up for all three goals so far

Really like this comparison. There was a slight concern regarding his forward pressure going in, as he seemed to be more a scorer first, but his tackling and off ball work has been great.
I really miss hearing the crowd scream "BALLL", the atmosphere seems a bit flat.
