A WWE star has reacted to the incredible crowd reaction to their in-ring return after almost a year out of action.
WWE NXT star Wendy Choo made her return to the ring after almost a year out of action on last night’s episode of NXT Level Up, where she was victorious over Wren Sinclair.
Wendy’s entrance was met with a great reaction from the crowd in the Performance Center who welcomed her back, and Wendy has now reacted to the crowd’s reception to her return.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote:
This crowd was INCREDIBLE! I was holding back my tears behind that big smile. Truly a moment I will never forget. It feels great to be back!
WWE aired a subtle teaser for the return of Wendy Choo to NXT television on this week’s show that some fans may have missed, which you can see here.
Wendy isn’t the only WWE star to make their return after a year away, with former Universal Champion Braun Strowman returning to the ring after last night’s SmackDown show.
This crowd was INCREDIBLE! I was holding back my tears behind that big smile. Truly a moment I will never forget. It feels great to be back! 😴♥️ https://t.co/TtrIBnUsv3
