HDB rule got problem?

"Maximum number of bedrooms allowed to rent out for 4 room and bigger: 2"

"^ Only bedrooms originally constructed by HDB can be rented out. All other parts of the flat (including partitioned rooms) cannot be used as bedrooms for tenants."

If I buy a 4rm + 4rm jumbo, can only rent out 2 bedrooms mer? I think the 2nd rule is more accurate? Can ownself stay in kitchen / living room converted bedroom and rent out the other HDB constructed bedrooms? Jumbo can easily get 6 original bedrooms + 2 more converted bedrooms.

Means u have to rent the whole house out or just rent out max 2 bedrooms If you're staying inside

ownself dunno how to read the rules then come up with your own pattern to suit your needs.

hdb already say bky count kitchen and living room as living quarters liao

Got a question.. those rent out entire flat hdb..
If got visitors want stay overnight can ? Say 1 month .. will infringe rules ?

Edmwers already said HDB is not for you to flip or rent your rooms out for profit.

If you don't need that many rooms for your own use, why you buy a 4 + 4 jumbo flat?

Jumbo not for bbfas to rent out rooms. Is for large family. Yes 4 rm best roi

Best layout is this. Dual key style got privacy.

You can stay in the studio and rent out the other rooms.
