Grable Howie concert: 11 a.m. Sunday, Bricks on Main, 471 Main St., Longmont. Grable Howie is an emerging alternative/folk artist who currently studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Grable was born and raised in Longmont. His music tells a story of personal growth, family and the value of living in the moment. The Niwot Community Semi Marching Band: 4 p.m. Sunday, Bootstrap Brewing Company, 142 Pratt St., Longmont. The Niwot Community Semi-Marching Free Grange Band was  “born on the 4th of July” in 2005, when the band performed for the dedication of the bandstand at Whistle Stop Park in Niwot. The all-volunteer band consists of 20 to 30 members who perform a variety of music for community events in Niwot and beyond throughout the year. This month’s Ales4FemAles will be a fascinating beer history lesson with Carl Rose, craft brewer and American brewing historian.
