The Niwot Community Semi Marching Band: 4 p.m. Sunday, Bootstrap Brewing Company, 142 Pratt St., Longmont. The Niwot Community Semi-Marching Free Grange Band was “born on the 4th of July” in 2005, when the band performed for the dedication of the bandstand at Whistle Stop Park in Niwot. The all-volunteer band consists of 20 to 30 members who perform a variety of music for community events in Niwot and beyond throughout the year.
