Beulah M. Ross, 91, of Columbus, passed from this life at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at her home.

Mrs. Ross was born November 24, 1932, in Columbus, the daughter of Clyde L. and Florence C. Strietelmeier Brewer.

She married James E. Ross September 4, 1953; he preceded her in death October 9, 2014.

Beulah was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jonesville.

She retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

She was an avid card player and enjoyed reading and supporting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sporting events.

Survivors include her sons, James Wayne (Dianna) Ross, Mark David (Kim) Ross and Michael Clay (Kathy) Ross all of Columbus; grandchildren, Melanie (Casey) Ritz, Daniel (Carrie) Ross, Lindsay (Josh) Hendricks, Amy (Josh) Smith, Tyler (Leah) Ross, Clayton Ross and Cody (Mikayla) Ross; fifteen great-children; a great-great-grandson; and a sister, Sue (Carl) Kuhlman of Freetown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Genet Lowe and Mary Ross and a great-grandson, Klyde Ross.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jonesville with the Rev. Matthew Jung officiating.

Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and 9:00 a.m. to time of service Monday at the church.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Jonesville.
