Recommendations for Traveling from East Coast, USA

Question

Hello all, just wanted to ask about flying to Japan from the East Coast, Virginia/DC area. If anyone has any advice or recommendations for airlines I would greatly appreciate it.

Right now we are planning to go end of October, and the cheapest flights are Air Canada for around $1,100 USD. Would this be a good option? The times are not great, but could probably make it work.

The cheapest flights are through air Canada, never flown it myself but my friends who have had no complaints Otherwise there are direct flights from Dulles to Haneda/Marita but they’re more expensive

Skyscanner is really helpful for this

Google flight matrix ITA may help
